Hand-reared African pygmy hoglets from our own ethical breeding programme — from £250
We breed a small number of African pygmy hedgehogs each year and they are hand-reared here from birth, so they are used to being handled long before they go anywhere. We do not always have litters, and hoglets are never sold to the first person who asks — so this is a waiting list rather than a shop.
Add your details and we will get in touch when we have hoglets. There is no obligation and no deposit at this stage.
Before you join. Pygmy hedgehogs are nocturnal, live alone, and need a room held at a steady temperature all year — they are not a starter pet, and they are not really a pet for a young child. We would rather say so now than rehome one that is not working out. Our care guide covers what keeping one actually involves.
