Step inside the Rainforest Regulation Den 🌿✨

Something we’re really proud of — because no other animal assisted setting we know of has a dedicated regulation space like this. And that matters.

For SEND children, animal contact can be magic — but only if they get to it on their own terms. Coming straight into a room full of animals when you’re already overwhelmed isn’t access, it’s overload 💚

So we built the den. Soft lighting. Calming rainforest sounds. Sensory textures. A weighted blanket if you want one. Animals close by when you’re ready, and not a moment before 🧠✨

It’s a tiny detail that makes the biggest difference — and it’s why families tell us their child can do something here that they can’t do anywhere else.

We have also built the sensory den based on recommendations from our customers on what helps them as everyone is different – I find things calming that surprisingly others don’t however we have similar sensory needs different things work which is why we have everything… (yes, I have a shopping problem)

The sun is finally making an appearance ☀️✨

On warmer days, you don’t have to sit in our cosy warm room (lovely as it is) — we’ve got an outdoor space ready for you. Cushions, blankets, and your pick of rabbits, guinea pigs, or skinny pigs running around your feet while you soak up some vitamin D 🐰✨

You can even take a bunny for a walk on a harness! We use a 50 metre long lead so they get the freedom to roam and don’t feel restricted — but they’re safely on lead the whole time 💚

And if you fancy something a bit more spectacular, we can fly Rosie the parrot outside on her harness too 🦜✨

Small confession — I love the sun too, so please come and use it with us while it lasts 😂☀️
