I breed African Pygmy Hedgehogs ethically and responsibly, prioritising health and temperament. My breeding females begin their first litter at 9 months old and retire by the age of 2.
Each female is bred only once per year, ensuring they have time to recover between litters

Hoglets leave at 8 weeks old (or occasionally from 6 weeks if they meet the required weight). Every hoglet goes to their new home with:
- A blanket that smells like mum
- A starter pack of their current food
- A toy
- A travel carrier
This helps ease their transition into their new environment.

Hedgehog Holiday Boarding
I offer professional holiday care for African Pygmy Hedgehogs (APH) in Warlingham, Surrey, at £10 per day. This includes all supplies needed for their stay:
- Spacious enclosure
- Exercise wheel
- Bedding
- Food and water bowls
- Hideouts
- Litter tray (optional)
If your hedgehog is on a specific diet, please provide their usual food. During their stay, daily spot cleans are carried out, with a full enclosure clean every 5–7 days. You’ll also receive daily photo updates of your hedgehog to keep you reassured.
